Accident Plan Insurance
Many Americans are not prepared to deal with the aftermath of an accident, especially outside the workplace where most accidents occur. UnionSecure offers union members the Comprehensive Accident Plan (CAP) as a way of providing protection for all types of covered accidents - from the minor to the fatal - anywhere they occur.
CAP is an all-in-one solution, combining three different types of coverage, including:
- Income for hospitalization resulting from a covered accident
- Disability resulting from an accident
- Accidental death
It's a comprehensive and economical way to protect your family's financial security from almost any covered accident - it helps pays the bills when you are unable to work.
Benefit options
You can choose from two benefit options:
Option 1
- You receive $50 a day for every day you are in the hospital, and
- You receive up to $500 for every month you are disabled and can't work, or
- Your beneficiary receives $50,000 if the accident proves fatal.
Option 2
- You receive $100 a day for every day you are in the hospital, and
- You receive up to $1,000 for every month you were disabled and couldn't work, or
- Your beneficiary receives $100,000 if the accident proves fatal.
You can purchase this coverage:
- for yourself, or
- for your spouse or domestic partner - he/she is eligible even if you don't apply
UnionSecure's CAP provides protection that is hassle-free and you are guaranteed acceptance:

- This policy pays you from the first day of hospitalization.
- You receive benefits in addition to any other insurance you may already have.
- Guaranteed to be issued - no health questions, medical exam, or exclusions based on pre-existing conditions.
- Premiums do not increase and benefits do not decrease with age - you won't pay more for your coverage, or lose any of your benefits, until the policy terminates at age 65.
- Strike waiver of premium - we wil pay your premium for up to one year if you are involved in a union-sanctioned strike or lockout. May not be available in all states or for all unions.
- You are covered anytime, anywhere - 24 hours a day.
- You have a 60-day review period with a satisfaction guarantee.
